BABEL - Escola Línguas Cascais

Language school Cascais, BABEL offers language learning for children, adolescents and adults in the centre of Cascais. The school is located on Rua Alexandre Herculano, around five minutes from the train and bus stations and close to the beaches.

Founded in 1999 by a group of teachers with experience in language teaching, BABEL follows a communication-focused methodology. Its approach aims to give students the means to communicate successfully in the foreign language they are learning, with certified teachers supporting the learning experience.

Courses are available in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish. Options include academic-year progress courses from September to June, holiday courses, and curricular support for students who need help with school programmes or with entering a foreign university.

BABEL also provides courses for professionals seeking language skills suited to their field, delivered either at the school or in the workplace. Language classes can also be arranged for companies, schools and other institutions, with BABEL teachers coming to the client’s location.
