ELC Cascais

Language school Cascais ELC offers English and Portuguese courses for children, teenagers and adults in the historic centre of Cascais. Its professional, experienced teachers help learners communicate with greater fluency and accuracy in either language.

Founded in 2006 with English classes, ELC introduced Portuguese courses in 2008. The school now provides group and private Portuguese courses, English courses for young learners and adults, and options for companies.

Students can also prepare for IELTS, Cambridge and CAPLE examinations. ELC is accredited by DGERT and is an official Cambridge exam preparation centre.

Its three-floor building has nine classrooms, along with a student lounge and library. ELC uses its central Cascais location for outdoor activities that recreate real-life communication contexts.

The school welcomes local and international students, creating classes where learners can practise the language they are studying with people from different linguistic backgrounds.
