Child health care center Cascais: CADIn Neurodesenvolvimento e Inclusão supports children, young people and adults with neurodevelopmental differences, behavioural or emotional difficulties. Located on Estrada da Malveira, the centre also works with families, schools and employers to encourage inclusion in everyday settings.

Its clinical and therapeutic team provides diagnosis and intervention across the lifespan, addressing challenges related to learning, communication and social interaction. CADIn takes a person-centred, multidisciplinary approach, considering clinical information alongside each person’s history and environment.

Created in 2003, CADIn is a private social solidarity institution and was the first centre in Portugal dedicated to the treatment and study of neurodevelopmental disorders. Alongside clinical activity, it offers training and research focused on development and atypical behaviour.

The organisation’s Social Fund helps contribute towards clinical and therapeutic follow-up for families with insufficient income, as well as children and young people in institutional care. Appointments and screening can be arranged through CADIn.
