Brave Generation Academy - Cascais Baia 01 and 02

Middle school Cascais families can explore a flexible secondary education option at Brave Generation Academy – Cascais Baia 01 and 02, located at Praça 5 de Outubro. The academy is part of a global learning community designed to help young people prepare for life as well as academic qualifications.

Learners can choose from British International curriculum options including IGCSEs and A-Levels, the American Core Curriculum, or Portuguese+. Secondary programmes use a hybrid model, allowing learners to progress at their own pace from local Hubs or online.

The approach combines personalised guidance with a collaborative social environment. At the Hub, learners work alongside peers, while the wider BGA network connects them with learners internationally.

Discussions, field trips, BGA-wide events and semiannual Build Weeks support connection and personal growth. Brave Generation Academy also emphasises independence, creativity and soft skills alongside academic learning.

Its flexible model has no fixed schedules or rigid start dates, offering an alternative for families seeking a personalised secondary-school experience in Cascais.
