Ambar Cascais

Italian restaurant Cascais, âmbar brings Italian technique together with Atlantic ingredients on a rooftop in the heart of the village. Its terrace is designed for relaxed dining with Cascais light and bay views at sunset.

The menu includes long-fermented dough, fresh pasta, Roman pinsas and an aperitivo ritual, with local seafood such as prawns, clams and lobster. Guests can also find signature cocktails, Italian and Portuguese wines, and dishes including spaghetti alle vongole, gnocchi and tiramisù.

The seasonal menu changes with the market and the time of year. At dusk, âmbar’s “amber hour” centres on spritzes, small bites and watching the sun go down over the bay.

Open Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00 to midnight, âmbar accepts table reservations and asks groups of more than eight to contact the restaurant directly. The terrace is subject to weather conditions.
