Moby Dick Surf School

Surf school Cascais Moby Dick Surf School offers two-hour surf lessons for all ages, nationalities and ability levels. From curious first-timers to advanced surfers refining their technique, sessions are designed to support learning in a relaxed, safe and enjoyable setting.

The school’s certified instructors are also professional surfers and sea enthusiasts, providing guidance for safer surf practice. Children aged 6 to 14 can join dedicated surf lessons and activities, available Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:00.

Beyond surf lessons, Moby Dick offers group and private stand-up paddle sessions, plus events including birthday parties, bachelor and bachelorette celebrations, team-building activities and other group occasions. Surfboard rentals include boards, leash, fins, wax, board bag and removable car racks, with more than 50 boards to choose from.

For a more immersive stay, the Surf Camp combines daytime surf lessons with accommodation in its Surf Houses. The Surf Lodge Cascais is in Malveira da Serra, within Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, while the Surf Lodge Sintra is located in Colares, surrounded by beaches, mountains, vineyards and local history.
