USF Fonte de Água

Community health center Cascais residents can find at USF Fonte de Água, a Family Health Unit based at the Centro de Saúde in Alcabideche. Integrated into ACeS Cascais, it brings together doctors, nurses and clinical secretaries to provide personalised care for registered users and their families.

The unit focuses on accessible, continuous and comprehensive healthcare, with in-person access as well as remote contact by telephone or email. Its consultations include adult health, maternal health, child and youth health, family planning, chronic disease and diabetes care, alongside open consultations and home visits.

USF Fonte de Água also provides wound treatment, vaccination or injectable therapy administration, and chronic prescription renewals. Prescribed wound treatments require prior booking; acute injuries may be assessed and treated through an open nursing consultation.

Opened on 19 October 2020, the unit supports its registered population with a team of six doctors, five nurses and four clinical secretaries. It also shares health information for users, including guidance on screening, infant care, sleep hygiene and vaccination.
