Margarida's School

Language school Cascais learners can find at Margarida’s School in Estoril, where Portuguese and other language courses are offered to students of all nationalities. The school welcomes learners from their first words through to more confident conversation.

Founded in 1981 by Margarida Alberty, the school has taught Portuguese and other languages in the Estoril-Cascais area for over four decades. Classes are available both in person and online, allowing students to choose the format that suits their needs.

Portuguese courses support those starting from scratch as well as learners developing existing skills. The school also offers language classes in English, Italian, and Mandarin/Cantonese for learners of all levels.

Margarida’s School uses small-group classes and instructional workbooks based on its founder’s teaching method. Its approach includes creative tools such as board games and flash cards, alongside activities connected with Portuguese history, poetry, music, customs, and culture.
