IMBAS School of Music & Arts

Music school Cascais residents can find at IMBAS School of Music & Arts is a non-profit cultural cooperative in Cobre, created to foster artistic expression and community. Founded in 2022 by Erica Mulcahy and Seyda San, IMBAS welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds.

Set in a light, open villa on Rua de Cima, the school has multiple music studios for private and group lessons. Music teaching is tailored to each student’s needs, with an emphasis on creativity, experimentation and early composition.

Students can join group music classes, including jam sessions and choruses, for all ages and skill levels. IMBAS also runs music camps for children aged 7 to 14, offering a creative setting to explore music, make friends and learn new skills.

Alongside music, the space includes an art studio, language classroom and yoga studio. IMBAS is an official ABRSM exam centre, authorised to organise and administer ABRSM music exams.
