FACTOR International Acting School

Drama school Cascais students can explore acting training with FACTOR International Acting School through weekly in-person group classes and private coaching on the Portuguese coast. The school also offers live online one-to-one classes for students training from anywhere.

FACTOR works with beginners, acting students, applicants to acting schools and professional actors. Training covers acting fundamentals, voice, body awareness, emotional awareness and scene work, with support for auditions, self-tapes, cold reading and on-camera performance.

For those seeking skills beyond performance, the school’s approach also focuses on confidence, presence, communication and authentic self-expression. Students work with voice, breath and body to address tension, fear of public speaking and everyday communication.

Classes are taught by founder Julia Monteon, whose background includes training at the Kyiv National University of Theatre, Film and TV and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. A free 15-minute consultation is available to discuss the most suitable format and next steps.
