USF Mare

Public medical center Cascais residents can find at USF Mare is a primary healthcare unit in Parede, providing personalised and continuous care for registered patients. Its approach focuses on prevention, health education and care tailored to each person’s needs.

The unit offers general and family medicine appointments for all ages, nursing care, vaccinations, family planning, maternal and child health follow-up, and nutrition consultations. It also monitors chronic conditions including diabetes, high blood pressure and dyslipidaemia, with preventive screening and support for chronic prescription renewals.

Psychological support is available for chronic patients and adolescents in collaboration with URAP psychologists. Health education sessions and projects promote healthy lifestyles, disease prevention and health literacy within the local community.

Appointments may be booked in person, by telephone or through the SNS user portal, SNS 24 or the SNS 24 app. USF Mare is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 20:00 and is closed on weekends and public holidays.

Registration is available to people who live or work in the ACES Cascais coverage area, subject to available places.
