Psychologist Cascais support is available through Psi Intervir, a psycho-educational intervention centre in São Domingos de Rana. Founded in 2003, the centre focuses on the psychological and social wellbeing of children, adolescents and families.

Led by founder and Clinical Director Filomena Santos Silva, Psi Intervir provides psychological and psycho-pedagogical assessment, psychological support and psychotherapy, psycho-pedagogical support, study-method guidance, and assessment of school readiness and gifted children. The team also works in coordination with families, schools and other professionals.

The centre supports young people with learning difficulties, attention and hyperactivity difficulties, emotional instability, anxiety, behavioural concerns, adaptation difficulties, developmental delays, communication and relationship disorders, sleep difficulties, grief and bullying. Programmes include Aprender a Aprender, focused on study methods, and PEP: Pare, Escute e Pense, an intervention programme for ADHD.

Most services take place in a consulting-room setting at Espaço Clínico SER + in São Domingos de Rana. Support may also be provided in school or institutional settings and at home.
